Requirements
The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible to apply for a Foundation Grant:
- Must be a qualified 501(c)(3) organization
- Must be current with both federal and state taxes
- Must be a "no-kill" shelter (By national standards, shelters must have, at least, a 90% placement rate for the animals in their care to be considered "no-kill")
- Must complete a grant application
- Must NOT be government funded
IF SELECTED AS A FINALIST, SHELTER MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Be willing to allow a site visit and allow photos to be taken during the visit
- Be able to provide previous 2 years tax returns
- Be willing to provide any and all salaries of Officers
- Be able to provide 501(c)(3) status paperwork
